What can I do with a dried out bouquet of roses?
They are very sentimental... Just like mommy! Thanks again.. Have a great night. Report It
Reply:there is a place in San Diego that you can buy dead flowers and send them to people you don't like, what a surprise to Be delivered Flowers in a pretty box to open it and find them dead
Reply:Frankly.. I would dispose of them.. but if you really wanted to keep them.. Then get a can of silver or gold spray paint and spray paint them(outside of course).. let them dry and then bring them in and put them in a creative vase of some type.
Reply:There are kits you can buy for preserving flowers. Consists of a sandy substance you cover the blooms in. Failing that, hang the bouquet upside down, so that the flowers don't dry all saggy. Let 'em dry out, and spray a couple times with an aerosol clear coat, or I've used hairspray. Spray and dry, spray and dry. Then they should be ready to display in a vase.
I've done this a few times, and still have my blooms. If they are in a sunny spot, they may lose colour over time. Also try to blow the dust off them weekly, or that can fade the colour also. Good Luck!
Reply:You could use the dried roses to make a wreath or small floral arrangement to either hang on the wall or use as a centerpiece. Also you could use the petals in potpourri.
Reply:Most people throw them away. Some people take one and press in a book just to remember the one she got them from.Course youcould i guess do the whole bouquet if you want.
