In the UK how much would you expect to pay for a wedding bouquet?

Nothing fancy - say freesias, hyacinths, tulips and some greenery. Tied up with natural raffia, not ribbon.

Have been quoted £65 and I admit I was astonished. Am I just being naive?

I did not recieve any quotes under £60. Mine is 80 but is all roses and takes a little work to make as it has pearl pins between each of the flowers. This is being made by a friend so trust her to have given me a good price.
Reply:I was shocked when the florist quoted me £60.00! It will grieve me when I toss the bouquet, I will ask the single woman if I could have it back lol!
Reply:I would say that is pretty reasonable, I live in London UK and had a pomander of roses, say about 20 roses and this was mixed in with blue fluffy feathers and it cost me £150!!!! Believe it or not that was the cheapest quote I got. It really depends from town to town and florist to florist
Reply:yes and more why not get a good book from the library and give a go loads of brides do it [yes they do]
Reply:in the us its like 40,000
Reply:Shop around, independent florists will be helpful, especially if you have a clear idea as to what you want. Why not ask a creative friend to make one for you?
