How long do you keep a bouquet of flowers before you send them off to a landfill?

If the bouquet is still giving you pleasure, it is still worth keeping. This means, you might want to hang it upside down and dry it to keep forever.

Otherwise, if it looks "undesirable" and has served it's happy purpose by the 4th day, chuck it....

1 week
Reply:until they turn hard... then its down the bucket for them...
Reply:I make potpourri out of the petals
Reply:Untill they die hon. I care for them wll though.
Reply:When they droop, loose their petals and say "I'm done"!
Reply:I'm the only loser on here that keeps a book of flowers.......put the pretty floweres between blank pieces of a book....

it's so pretty %26lt;3
Reply:depends... i really, really love flowers so i often dry them... miniature roses and gladiolas especially.
Reply:A week is the longest I keep them.

☺♥☺
Reply:Until they die or look crappy, whatever happens first.
Reply:Depends on what kind they are. Some flowers last longer than others. If it's a mixed bouquet I pull out the flowers as they start to die off. Depending on the flowers, I've had them last as long as a month.
Reply:Depends on the flowers. Some last longer then others but as soon as they start looking like they need to much attention, out they go.

Reply:*During the warm months I cut flowers from my flower garden %26amp; bring them in as bouquets! They always last at least a week! A lot of them I dry for potpourri*
Reply:lmao...I actually have a vase in my closet at the moment with roses that my boyfriend sent me for Valentine's day! I forgot to press them, and haven't figured out what to do with them yet lol. Normally I will keep one or two flowers and press them and toss out the rest once they die.
Reply:I intend to keep them forever by drying them, or pressing them in books....

Sadly for me though, I don't get many flowers.
