What flowers would look good in a bouquet? (wedding in July)?

I'm having a july wedding, but I'm not sure what flowers to carry. I looked at flowers in season in the summer, and I can't find many that I like. My colors are red %26amp; white (any other colors to use would also be appreciated.....I need help)

Also, my maid of honor would like a different bouquet than the bridesmaids.....any help would be great. Thanks!

What flowers would look good in a bouquet? (wedding in July)?
daisies
Reply:roses
Reply:i would stick to red or yellow roses%26gt;
Reply:Red miniature carnations or roses, white Casablanca lilies,

yellow buttons, white bouvardia, purple limonium, or other combination of flowers, with springerhii or variegated ivy, in hand-tied bouquets, accented with jewel stems (hot on the market), using reds, whites, yellows, purples, just according to your budget. Your flowers can be all white or mixture -- hand-tied bouquets are pretty in July and less expensive. Also, the Peppermint Carnations are variegated Red/White, which can be used, or use all white bouquets with designed ribbons. There are so many combinations, white freesia is also beautiful in bouquets.

Look through your Bridal magazines and try to seek some combinations thereof before going to a florist. Unfortunately, I presently do all silk for weddings, as I do not have a cooler in my shop. The prettiest bouquets for summer, in my opinion, are the hand-tied using vibrant color -- One of my weddings I have designed, using Stargazer lillies, white mini carnations, variegated ivy, with hints of red roses, as were the church arrangements, however, the pew markers were single Stargazer's with variegated ivy and white ribbons. This was a September wedding. An August wedding, I used the white Casablanca lily, Sonia Roses (which can be red) with white heather and Springerhii, which is a light and airy greenry. This was an outdoor wedding. There are so many combinations, I only make the silk arrangements, as I offer flower packages for weddings, and if can help, please e-mail me at: eycflorals@yahoo.com -- my website is: www.eycfloralsandgifts.com -- it is new and still adding -- I don't have arrangements up yet, but soon. Thank you and wish you the best, and hope this helps.
Reply:As a wedding professional, I would suggest that you select a theme and color scheme that should consist of (3) colors. In selecting your flowers it should not only incorporate your color choice but also your theme. Work with your theme and the style of your wedding whether it is formal or semi-formal. These first steps will help you in deciding the style of your floral arrangements. Something that most brides do not know also is that each flower has a meaning. Our recommendation for colors red would be a tulip, peonies, tropical flowers such as a bird of paradise along with the bells of Ireland as greenery. To make a definite selection as far as your flower choice make sure that is represents you as a bride and is not a copy of someone elses wedding. Make it "Uniquely yours" no matter how non-traditional it may appear to you. The least inexpensive flowers are the flowers that are in season for the month of July, if you are choosing fresh flowers.
Reply:calalillies are very pretty and simple goes with any theme and dress
Reply:how about white lilies with just on spring of red hanging down very long.
Reply:When I got married I choose these colours. My dress was white with Burgundy flowers and for my flowers I had deep red coloured roses with a bit of green foliage. The name of my flowers were called black beauty (sounds awful, but they were lovely- they were a deep red colour) When you've chose your florist take a picture of the dress and take a colour sample with you. They should be able to do a colour match for you. Do the same for the bridesmaid. What about a smaller version of your for the bridesmaid and some cream ones for the maid of Honor?

Hope your day goes lovely whatever you decide
Reply:i like black eyed susans..

they are like daisys only yellow and brown..

although they don't match your theme
Reply:For July--red white and blue would be very patriotic
Reply:BRIDE'S BOUQUET OF WHITE CASA BLANCA LILIES, BURGANDY AND WHITE CALLA LILIES, STEPHONOTIS ACCENTED WITH PEARL PINS, RED MADAM ROSES WITH IVY TIED WITH A SATIN RIBBON ACCENTED WITH PEARLS.

BRIDESMAIDS BOUQUET OF STARGAZERS, CREAM ROSES AND PURPLE TINY CUSHION MUMS, LEATHER GREENS TIED IN A NOSEGAY WITH RIBBON.

YOU CAN ADD HINTS OF PINK, PURPLE OR YELLOW TO YOUR RED/WHITE THEME.....ADD SILVER AS A METALLIC TO ACCENT YOUR DECOR!

Reply:Red and white roses would be pretty. Carnations are nice too. What about Calla Lilies? They are gorgeous. Go to a local florist and get some ideas from them.
Reply:put some white roses with some white lilies and spray paint the roses green and have the lilies white. thats what my cousin did.
Reply:Iris, Gladolies are some that are summer flowers. I would also consider daisys. Silks come in any thing, I would ask a florist. And my honor attendants had just slightly larger bouquet.
Reply:roses are always good in bouquets, and they smell really good 2.
Reply:blue iris with red roses and white tulips
Reply:i sure do hope these help you.

Reply:They make mini red sunflowers at some flower shops which you could mix in with almost any white flower. Red %26amp; White Gerber Daisies would work as well.

Reply:Yours- red roses with white babies breath (and greens w/ white ribbon wound around stems)

Hers- smaller white roses with 4 or 5 red roses (some babies breath) (and greens w/ white ribbon wound around stems)

Theirs- smaller white roses (and greens with red ribbon around stems)

Flower girl- White Hydrangea blooms (and greens w/ white ribbon around stems)
Reply:Roses, lilies, always work; carnations and daisies work and are cheap! Also, consider using you and your fiancee's favorite or birth month flowers.

Yours should be more elaborate, and have most white in it, wth a little red [ maybe one type of flower? ]

Bridesmaids' bouquets should have a little more red, and be slightly plainer [ never heard of maid of honor having ' better' bouquet than others, but it's your wedding ].

Flower girl should have small bouquet or basket, with maybe rosebuds and baby's breath for innocent childhood?

All groomsman should have same color flower boutonierre, not necessarily the same flower.

You could add pink, ivory, and/or lots of greenery [ my preference ], but don't let anyone talk you into blue or purple

[ will look blue in photos ] please!
Reply:If your wedding is in July and you are having red and white colors, stick to the patriotic theme and use red roses, white carnations and ivy vines! for the bridal bouquet. Go with red or white carnations for the bridesmaids, and groomsmen. the best man would get a red rose of course

Congrats! and good luck :}
Reply:Obvious answer would be roses any color but also suggest calla lillies, orchids, gebera daisies, lillies. It really depends upon your dress and the style of the wedding. The more modern it is the sleeker I would make the flowers. Single flower bouquets kept to one or two similar colors (say red and orange, etc.) The more traditional I would go with mixed bouquets of 3-4 types of flowers w/ base colors that go w/ your color theme, include some red into the bouquets from theme (not as base color) So Yellow or White lillies w/ a few roses and some orchids. Good luck !!!
Reply:take a swatch of your bridesmaid dresses in to your florist and look through the books/photos they have --- also take any pics you may have found and like with you to the florist they will talk with you and give you ideas based on your theme if you have one --- keep in mind you are paying for flowers but also for their ideas and suggestions -- only take 1 friend with you -- the one who will give you an opinion if you ask her. good luck %26amp; congrats
Reply:how about red and cream roses in hand tied for bridesmaid and do you could have the same flowers added with a few more in a shower type bouquet?
