NO!!! You keep the bouquet and it means that you will be the next one to be married. So good luck with your wedding if you plan to be married soon.
When you catch the wedding bouquet are you suppose to return it to the bride?
No. As stated it is an extra boquet specific to the boquet toss. Most florists will include this at no cost with a floral package. Ask your florist about it.
Reply:No it is yours to keep. Hang it upside down in a warm dry area like a laundry room or attic and it will keep
Reply:usually the bouquet they throw is a throw-away, that way the bride doesnt damage hers in case she wants to preserve it. but by all means, ask her if you have any doubts.
Reply:Eileen is correct. There are supposed to be two bouquets - one made specifically for tossing.
If the bride in this instance was unaware that she should have had two bouquets madeup and it is really upsetting her, then you can return if you want to keep the peace with her. Otherwise, it's yours.
Reply:No, you get to keep it. My florist had provided me with a free mini-size bouquet for the bouquet toss.
Reply:no
most brides buy a
throw-a-way bouquet
instead of throwing
the real one
Reply:no
Reply:I've never heard of that!
Reply:no, because it's not her bouquet. It's a toss bouquet made especially for tossing.
Although some brides do throw their actual bouquet to the girls.
Reply:no you keep it
Reply:no you keep it as a keepsake
Reply:nope
Reply:no, i kept mine when i caught it. The bride usually has her real bouquet and then a tossing one.
Reply:nope, its yours. the a the bouquet you are catching isnt actually their bouquet, it was made for throwing. so dont feel guilty
Reply:no its supposed to mean you are going to be married next
Reply:Nope, that's why the bride is supposed to purchase a toss bouquet which is basically a miniature of hers, if she isn't willing to give hers up.
Reply:normally they use a second bouquest when throwing... and if you catch it it is yours to keep. my floriset is giving me a free bouquet to throw.
Reply:No, but I asked my florist if I was supposed to throw MY bouquet, and he laughed. The Bride's bouquet is usually elaborate %26amp; expensive %26amp; then my florist is including in my package a toss bouquet.
Reply:Nope....it's yours to keep. Most brides do not throw the bouquet they used walking down the aisle (at least not where I live.) The florist provides them with a "toss bouquet."
Reply:The bride is suppose to have an extra bouquet to toss.
For my Wedding, I had my gorgeous bouquet and my tossing bouquet. Then I fell in love with another bouquet while I was shopping for other wedding stuff and since it was so inexpensive it was $10.00 I just bought it.
It was a really good thing that I had an extra bouquet because when I tossed it a girl caught it, but there was another girl who was not going to let her have it. They actually wrestled on the ground for it and after a good three minutes finally let go, both started laughing and gave each other a high five.
Needless to say the small bouquet that I tossed was destroyed, so I gave the bouquet to the girl who caught it.
Reply:no, you keep it. thats the tradition anyway
Reply:no you don't return the bouquet to the bride. that is why the bride throws the bouquet.
Reply:No, it's yours to keep.
Reply:No, you keep it.
But the bride can have two and she keeps one to herself.
Reply:No, when i caught it i kept mine.
Even though this bratty little girl tried to steal it because it was "hers"
Reply:actually the last wedding receptions i ahve been to .your suppose to dance with the guy who catches the garter
she keeps the bouquet
he keeps the garter
Reply:No. All the brides (including myself) I've known get a separate tossing bouquet. It's usually not as expensive and they still keep their own. Therefore, there is no reason to return it. I've caught them before and kept them.
Reply:No I never heard of returning it to the bride. If you don't want it offer it to her but if she really wanted it she would have had another one made up just for the bridal throw..I have seen that many times,,,They have a special smaller version made for throwing. It is supposed to mean in traditon that you will be the next single girl to marry out of the wedding guests....
Reply:No. You have to keep it. If you give it away, you will die an old spinster.-or so the old superstition says.
Reply:No, the person that catches it keeps the bouquet. Normally a bride has a special smaller bouquet made that is specifically for tossing.
