When do you throw the bouquet and garter?
Normally, I see the garter/bouquet toss done after the cutting of the cake (which usually takes place after dinner)





Most couples get it out of the way after the cake cutting, so guests can enjoy the rest of the reception/dancing without interruptions.
Reply:Where I'm from, this is usually done just before the late lunch - around 10:30 - 11 p.m., depending upon how the rest of the reception timeline goes.
Reply:I am throwing my bouquet about an hour after the bridal waltz (first dance), which is straight after the cutting of the cake, which is straight after desert. I believe most people leave it fairly close towards the end of the night. (That is what has happened at most of the weddings I have been to)
Reply:I think it's during the reception, after the cake is cut and presents are open. At least, that's when i'm going to do mine lol. Hopefulyl I don't look like an idiot lol.

Reply:You should do the Garter and Bouquet toss right before you guys are heading out. Usually on the way to the limo or car.

It really is just a matter of preference. It's your day, so you can throw it whenever you want. :)
