cut the stems about a half inch day to remove built up sap and change the water. a little sugar helps too.

Hi, When you first get them home, Submerge them in Warm water. Warm to the touch. Then while under water, trim about 1/2 " Off the bottom at a 45% Angle. Then, strip all leaves off that will be under water. Add 1/2 Aspirin, and 1/2 tablespoon 7 up or some thing close in comparison. Then fill the rest of the way with Warm Water,Warm to the touch. Repeat this every 2 ~3 Days. Depending on the variety, they can last for up to two full weeks! Bye
