How much would it cost to make a crystal wedding bouquet?

Just wondering if anyone knew how much a crystal wedding bouquet would cost- a larger one for me the bride. that is if I made it myself. I was also thinking of doing smaller ones for the bridesmaids and boutineers for the guys and one coursage for a girl on my fiance's side. Has anyone done this? Any tips? I was just looking around online, and I think I really love this idea. I'm all about new ideas for our wedding :)

Here's a pic of a crystal bouquet- http://www.weddingflowersforyou.net/crys...

Thats awesome!

I found this site with directions and she put her email so you can write and ask for tips, email her and ask about how much it cost for the bouquet all together, with materials and such, I bet she would tell you.

Good luck!
Reply:Just to let anyone know who does want to do this- it's very time consuming! But it's absolutely gorgeous! :) Report It

Reply:Not sure exactly on the cost, but from stores genuine Swarovski beads the size shown cost around 25c each. You would probably need at least 200 (most likely heaps more)so thats $50 for the beads. You can get them cheaper off ebay, but I think they are only crystal not swarovski they don;t sparkle as much.
Reply:I don't know about an exact $ amount for each bouquet, but look at this site. http://www.firemountaingems.com/ You can buy Swaroviski crystals (sold per bead) or Celestial Crystals (sold per strand, so they are much cheaper but give the same look). You can also buy silver wire too. You would want a small guage wire so it fits through the holes in the beads. (FYI-larger gauge number means thinner/smaller wire, 26 is smaller than 20)

It shouldn't cost more than regular flowers to make these crystal bouquets. Just be careful of the wires poking people's hands. Maybe wrap the "stems" with colored ribbon to match your wedding.
Reply:oh, that's very pretty, esp. if you're planning on getting married in a snowy winter month! I think you can find the materials for that at Michael's or another craft store....I bet it wouldn't be as expensive as you would think! Good Luck!
