How do I dry a rose, babies breath, and the green leafy things from a fresh bouquet?

I have a beautiful bouquet of long stem red roses my fiance had delivered to me today and I would like to dry one for a keepsake. Any ideas on how to do this?

keep them around for a couple more days. when they begin to droop just a little bit. remove them from the water immediately and tie them together at the bottom of the stems (a rubber band will work as well) hang them upside down in a dark dry place ( i usually do it in my closet) in about a week. they will be dry and ready to be kept forever. you can even stick them back in a dry vase for display. also, if you want you can spray them with a spray glaze to make them shiny.
Reply:UPSIDE DOWN
Reply:dry ice.
Reply:the best way is to hang them upside down for awhile.
Reply:Tie them together at the stem and hang them upside down in a dry area unti they are dried. The result will be a beautiful keepsake!
Reply:The best way to dry them is to put them between two pieces of acid free white paper in and then lay them in the middle of an old telephone book. Place a few more heavy books on top of that and leave them for about 6 months in a dry place. This will press and dry them and then you can mount them in a frame and keep them.
Reply:LuLu thinks she's smart, try and find dry ice and, without a license in the State. Anyhow, go to "Michael's" and ask the clerk, they have a micro wave kit for this purpose that's used for drying flowers, it's quite simple and works good. Other gift and Hobby stores sell it also. The "Hobby" store "Joann's" etc.
Reply:It may take a few weeks to dry out,but you could hang the flowers up side down with a clothes pin on a clothes hanger. Use a wire clothes hanger.
Reply:put them in a bunch and hang them upside down in dry area
