Bridal Bouquet - Is there a specific season for calalillys?

I want to use burnt orange calalillys for my bridesmaids bouquets. My wedding is in October.... Will these flowers be in season? Do they have a season? Thanks!

Bridal Bouquet - Is there a specific season for calalillys?
In general calla lilies are available year-round! For the June through September season calla lilies are grown domestically with US growers. From November through May they are shipped from farms in South America and New Zealand where the calla lily season is once again at its peak.
Reply:Congratulations on your big event!

A good resource for seasonal availability of fresh cut flowers in North America is the California Cut Flower Commission. They produce about 80% of the domestic cut flowers supply in the US.

They have an excellent seasonal availability section which covers most of the cut flowers florist use. There's also some basic care and handling tips and a picture and description of each flower type there too. Callas are located at the following url: http://www.ccfc.org/encyclopedia/86.html

According to that guide, callas are available year round, so you shouldn't have a problem in finding them.

Hope this helps!
